Currently living and working in the beautiful suburbs of Charlotte, North Carolina, Frank’s love for all things creative began long ago. Born and raised in New York, Frank has always had a sense of culture and a penchant for writing. He began his career as an educator in 1989 and has applied his talent to developing curriculum and classroom materials. In 2002, he ventured to the land ‘down under’ where he taught for three years and co-authored a craft book for Murdoch Books. Always thinking of unique ways to encourage his students to improve their writing skills, Frank would pen paragraphs on the board each morning for them to correct. His students looked forward to reading the continuing plot of some imaginative story-lines. His students often encouraged Frank to publish them and he tucked those words away with the dream of someday being a children’s book author. Frank’s ‘someday’ dream is now a reality. With a storehouse full of creative plots and situations, Frank is ready to embrace the publishing world and give children all around the world the opportunity to enjoy the journey of his imagination.
With the release of his first middle-grade novel, Life in the Grand Pause, Frank is now a seasoned, award-winning author.
Frank is an active member of SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators), NC School Library Media Association, Charlotte Writer’s Club, and ASCD.
